Coronavirus has been making much news over the last month. With India confirming attacks across various states, especially in Karnataka and UP, we would like to share some essential hygiene aspects without creating any panic. First of all, Coronavirus is dangerous because it spreads faster, but it’s not deadly. Here are a few things that you could take care of to prevent, not just Corona but any viral attack.
Avoid visiting crowded places
Avoid unnecessary visits to crowded places like Malls, Movie Theatre, Railway station, Auditorium, etc. Try to maintain at least 1 meter or 3 feet distance to someone who coughs or sneezes. Tiny water droplets from their nose and mouth may contain viruses, including COVID-19.
Cover up your mouth and nose with a handkerchief or tissue when you sneeze or cough. Request your friends and family to practice the same.
Carry a hand sanitizer
Our hands touch many surfaces, and it quickly picks any virus. The infection starts spreading the moment you start rubbing your eyes, nose, and mouth. So wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water.
Keep your hands clean and dry always. When washing your hands, rub it up for a minimum of 20 seconds with any alcohol-based hand washes. Keep a pocket hand sanitizer with you all the time. No handshakes when meeting a new person or for greeting, instead please follow our ancient traditional methods – “Vanakkam.”
As part of our awareness series, Doxtro will be sharing best practices to be followed to keep yourself healthy.
