The number of COVID-19 cases is continuing to skyrocket in developing countries like India. But due to various reasons, the Government had to relax certain restrictions that were imposed earlier. But does that mean that it does not exist anymore?
First Case in India
The first case of COVID-19 was reported on January 30th, 2020 in India. When we heard that there is a virus outbreak somewhere in China, a place called Wuhan, it gave shivers to us. The virus started spreading worldwide. Many countries imposed complete lockdown to control the spread of this virus because there is no medication or vaccine available. The general public was still thinking that this is an epidemic and need no special attention.
Lockdown in India
The Government had to impose Lockdown in a strict manner and the number of cases still kept shooting. The number of COVID-19 cases is still on the rise after imposing many restrictions. But the mindset of a vast majority has changed to see the COVID-19 to be too normalized. It is good that it is made a mandate to wear a mask throughout the nation. Social Distancing was the new norm.
Novel CoronaVirus is still existing and spreading vastly. With all this in place, people feel shy/ashamed to tell their family or Government when they find any symptoms of COVID-19. This leads to spreading the virus to their own family members and to their own community.
There is nothing to be ashamed of when you are affected by CoronaVirus. It is not something that you had brought into your lives. It happened to you. So when you find yourself with the following symptoms of COVID-19 such as:
- Dry Cough
- Breathing Difficulty
- Inability to smell or taste food
Take the following immediate actions.
Isolate yourself from your family, children and people in their old age. This avoids the spread of Coronavirus in your circle and community.
#2 Call healthcare provider

#3 Get immediate medical attention

Do not hesitate at any cost. Be safe and help everyone be healthy and safe!
